Shipping methods and cost

Artwork uses insured, tracked art or premium shipping calculated from value, weight, size and destination. Handcraft buyers may choose standard or premium shipping where offered for the variant. The displayed rate accounts for the seller's country of establishment, the delivery country, size and value, and the required transport insurance.

If a cart contains items from different artists, shipping and collection are shown separately per seller contract and paid with the relevant separate seller payment.

Collection in Graz

Where the artist has enabled collection for the chosen variant, the buyer may select free collection. Handover takes place exclusively at upTownArt, Sporgasse 24, 8010 Graz. Collection is possible only after the artist marks the work ready and upTownArt sends a collection-ready email.

Fulfilment, tracking and risk

The seller or their directly commissioned production or fulfilment service packs and ships. A tracking number is mandatory for shipped orders and is provided to the buyer by email and in their account. In a consumer transaction with a seller acting as a trader, risk of loss or damage generally passes only when the goods are handed to the buyer or a nominated third party, not when handed to the carrier and not when leaving the dispatch country. Statutory exceptions may apply if the buyer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered.

Please document visible damage on delivery and contact the seller through your order account. upTownArt provides this privacy-conscious contact route and marketplace support at michael@uptown.art. Contractual claims are generally directed to the relevant seller; mandatory statutory duties and any statutory liability of upTownArt remain unaffected.
