Artist
Integral Art & Nature
Hausmannstätten, Austria
Born in Austria in 1974, trained as an artist in painting, photography and film, doctorate in archaeology and art history, most recently employed at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, but also with many years of experience in managing large archaeological sites. From 2009 onwards, science became too monotonous and I found myself in further training in transpersonal psychology, holotropic breathwork, began to experiment with meditation, and returned to art.
Working with archetypes, a first contact with integral theory, but also with still existing indigenous shamanism, ancient European cultures and various psychotherapeutic approaches that deal with the individual and collective unconscious, systemic approaches and, ultimately, immersion in the creative processing of trauma, the understanding of the unconscious trauma sculptures within us as individuals, in our systems, but also in the collective… All of this flows into my artistic work, and since my main interest has always been in the psycho-spiritual healing aspect of art, I distanced myself from the mainstream art world – the regular exhibition scene, ‘the market’.
In my view, there is too little effectiveness there for what art can actually provide as a tool for healing.
My intention took shape in the sentence ‘I want people to work with my pictures’ in the first few months after my return to art. Today I would say: my pictures work with people when they are ready for it.
Since 2016, I have been working exclusively as a freelance artist and trainer, primarily in personality and consciousness development, and now also for so-called ‘global players’ – corporations that operate internationally and have decided to engage in a deeper transformation process rather than just greenwashing. Since 2020, I have been working with the integral management consultancy viable dynamics – Personal Development GmbH (Germany). This takes me and my work across all continents, and my works are now owned by collectors, companies and private individuals in over 50 countries.
Professionally, I also co-create with my partner Alfred Zenz, the soul gardener (Austria). We develop perception training and nature-oriented coaching based on a deeper, holistic understanding of natural systems.
I am the mother of two daughters, Leandra (26) and Viola (13), happily remarried since 2026, and live in a small, sleepy town in Austria, where I have a studio on the edge of the forest. From there, art and my curiosity about the questions life poses to us as human beings take me all over the world.
